Full Prime

Perched on the second floor of a commercial building in Nagasaki, Toshima Ward, Full Prime is an intimate bar dedicated to an eclectic world of spirits. The Japanese whisky shelf features celebrated staples like the classic Yamazaki, the crisp and botanical Hakushu, and the light, gentle Chita, along with regional bottlings such as Sakurao and Togouchi from Hiroshima and Ichiro's Malt White Label from Saitama. Selection rotates with market availability, so it is always worth checking with the bartender for the evening's offerings. Scotch, Irish whiskey, and American bourbons round out the back bar for easy side-by-side tastings.

Beyond whisky, the lineup covers plenty of ground. Starting with a cold draft Heartland, a Hoegaarden White, or a Pilsner Urquell is a refreshing way to ease into the evening.
